#1. Coco Before Chanel (2009)

Coco Gabrielle Chanel is irreplaceable, but Audrey Tautou is close enough. The movie is about the life of the fashion designer before the pearls, the perfume and her place in history. She was poor before her life in the House of Chanel. Therefore, is a movie to watch!

#2. Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009)

Rebecca Bloomwood is a young girl obsessed with shopping. She can’t resist to shop, to get more and to spend her money. Most of the times, she spends money she doesn’t have. If you thought you couldn’t resist the temptation of shopping more, you’ll find this movie delightful! She gets a job as… a financial analyst. Odd, right?! 

#3. Valentino: The Last Emperor (2008)

It’s a story about friendship and the art of couture. Valentino Garavani and his partner Giancarlo Giammetti are found in the middle of the 2006 Spring Summer Show preparations in Paris. This movie is about the fashion shows, difficult decisions and a lot of changes.

#4. The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

It’s a juicy one! Anne Hathaway plays the role of the character Andrea Sachs, an intelligent girl and journalist. She moves to New York to find a job in the industry and finds herself at the Runway Magazine. She becomes the personal assistant of Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). Everything goes wrong because her boss is a difficult person and puts her in unexpected situations. Let’s hope she makes the right decision.

#5. Yves Saint Laurent (2014)

It’s a biography about the famous fashion designer. It reveals his path from the Dior House to his famous collection “Ballet Russes” (1976). It’s all about jazz, Paris, wine and fashion. You can also see his last days of life.
