Tomorrow, 8 July, head to Ushuaïa and see a parade of luxury designers. High fashion in a hugely glamorous location! It sounds perfect for this summer vacation.
Originally a Madrid-based event, this year Mercedes-Benz brings its weekend fashion show to Ibiza. Its first edition counts on the participation of outstanding designers and their signatures: Alvarno, Jorge Vázquez, Teresa Helbig, Andrés Sardá and Desigual.
Also, Spain is known in worldwide fashion for its daring attitude of opening borders and going out to international platforms.
The new event was born “with the vocation of being the second major fashion event to be celebrated in Spain. A continuation of the already consecrated Madrid footbridge. It is a strong commitment by the Mercedes-Benz automotive brand to continue growing in the international circuit of fashion shows”, the organization said in a statement.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Ibiza is organized by Ifema.
Through its Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid – Mercedes-Benz Spain and Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, where the catwalk will take place.
Even more, the fashion event from Ibiza is sponsored by L’Oréal Paris.
It is “an interesting conception of fashion” with the aim of becoming the “second major fashion event” held in Spain. Hence, many say it will be one of the key events of the international calendar of presentation of cruise collections.

Also, designer Andrés Sardá promised a unique collection – “elegant and seductive with Mediterranean essence”.
Jorge Vázquez will present a collection inspired by the 70’s, in which the trend “beach-chic” stands out.
Furthermore, Teresa Helbig is expected in her first cruise collection to create a fusion between the “delicacy and romanticism” of tulle, and the “strength and magnetism” of leather and metal.
